900 Grapes Chardonnay 750ml

900 grapes in a bottle! "ripe and refreshing with lovely fruit weight" 4.5 Stars & 90/100: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit "This is a highly enjoyable Chardonnay full of ripe peach and citrus characters with hints of vanilla and cream on the nose. The palate is ripe and refreshing with lovely fruit weight and well balanced acidity leading to a juicy finish. The wine shows youthful vibrancy together with approachable smooth mouthfeel." Sam Kim, Wine Orbit Bright straw and youthful in appearance. The nose is fresh and bright, enticing stone fruit and citrus zest characters at the fore, with toasted cashew notes from subtly integrated oak adding complexity. The palate has good concentration and poise, it is quite taught and linear with citrus characters and a pure minerality. More white peach and lemon notes come through with layered spicy complexity and subtle toasty oak framing a well rounded and stylish Chardonnay. This bottle holds 900 or so of our finest grapes and very little else. It was a near perfect growing season for Chardonnay, which had our winemakers rubbing their hands with glee. With great care they allowed each grape to yield its flavour of sweet white peaches, ripe nectarines and even toasted cashews. Balanced with oak, the resulting wine is rich, golden and altogether luscious.
