Black Cottage Central Otago Pinot Noir 750ml

Black Cottage Central Otago Pinot Noir (Sustainable) New Zealand Harvest & Winemaker's notes:Sourced from the Wairau Valley with some fruit from the Awatere Valley. This pinot noir went through 100% stainless steel fermentation and was hand plunged in tandem with delestage. This brought out the perfumed berry fruit as well as increasing the silky mouthfeel of the wine. A large proportion was aged for 10 months in seasoned French oak and equivalents, and was lightly filtered before bottling.

Stoke Pilsner 6pk Bottles 330ml

The history of India Pale Ale is a rich and vibrant one which began in England in the 1800s. Using premium hops from the Nelson region, including Pacific Gem, Cascade, Motueka and Styrian Golding, we’ve added our own chapter to that story, crafting a thirst-quenching ale perfect for warm summer’s days. Our IPA is slanted more towards an english IPA than an american one. Bespoke yeast, 14,000 year-old Palaeo water and lightly toasted malt (no artificial additives or colouring) create a crisp, fruity taste with honey and citrus undertones. Tank conditioned over four weeks to enhance the smooth, caramel sweetness, our Stoke IPA has a touch of lightness to it but is a step up from our Pilsner in regards to the intensity of hops.

Squealing Pig Central Otago Pinot Noir 750ml

The Squealing Pig Central Otago 2010 Pinot Noir is a must try. The wine is crafted from selected parcels of fruit from premium vineyards in Central Otago and is a dense-coloured, velvet textured wine with blackberry, cherry and cocoa characteristics. 10 months in French Oak barrels and the cutest name and label you'll have seen in a while. Americans in particular will adore this wine as they love animals on their labels. They call it 'Critter Wine'. So Squealing Pig's Pinot Noir will go well here downunder, especially if cellared, and with the Northern Hemisphere folk as well. Official Tasting Notes... Colour: Deep red in colour with vibrant purple hues. Nose: This wine has a complex nose of red cherry, blackberry and cocoa aromas. Palate: The palate is rich and generous with velvet like tannins that offer wonderful length to the finish.
