Esk Valley Wine Makers Hawkes Bay Gimblett Gravels Syrah 750ml

This is a deeply coloured and aromatic wine representing the best of the harvest. It displays notes of red fruits, plums, pepper and spice with a subtle oak complexity. It is full bodied and very rich, but the natural acidity so typical of Gimblett Gravels Syrah gives the wine freshness and length. Only a small quantity was produced. Perfect with rich red meats and game. Can be enjoyed in its youth but has the potential to gain complexity over many years.
