Colour: Deep Ruby. Bouquet :Aromas of vibrant ripe red fruit imbued with hints of violets together with subtle earthy and smokey nuances supplemented by spicy oak savouriness. Palate: Richly flavoured with intense red fruits, well balanced subtle sweetness and spicy well integrated oak leading to a delicate lingering soft finish. Food Match :Duck, cervena, red meats and especially truffled venison and mushroom pie. Cellaring :Four to six years. Winemakers :James Healy / Ivan Sutherland.
