Brookfields 'Gold Label' Cabernet/ Merlot doesn't go chasing awards, but awards and accolades just keep coming with every vintage. Brookfields has only exhibited twice the 'Gold Label' in National Wine Shows in the last seventeen years, both times winning a Gold Medal. The Cabernet Sauvignon fruit was grown in the Ohiti Valley which is north of Roys Hill, adjacent the Ngaruroro River. The Merlot comes from the Tuki Tuki valley, and once again it is a northerly facing aspect. True 'Quality' is when a reputation has been earned by consistant high standards of workmanship.
