In 1884, Hiram Walker first exported his 6-year old Canadian blended whisky across the Detroit River into the United States. It quickly became the brand of choice by gentlemen members of exclusive taverns and men's clubs, earning it the name Canadian Club Blended Canadian Whisky. For more than a century it has been the bestselling Canadian whisky in the world. This famous whisky is comprised of a blend of continuous distilled whiskies. While its exact composition is a closely guarded secret, the blend is principally made up of corn whisky with lesser proportions of rye, malted rye and malted barley whiskies. These are blended prior to aging, allowing the elements to thoroughly integrate during their stay in white oak. Canadian Club Whisky has a dry, rounded body and an enticing, pronounced bouquet laced with the aromas of grain, toffee and toasted oak. The whisky lilts over the palate without a trace of bitterness, leaving behind the lip-smacking flavors of caramel, butter, orange zest and notes of cereal.

Born from a conversation between Jameson's head distiller and the head brewer of Cork's Franciscan Well Brewery, Jameson Caskmates is a head-turning, modern Irish whiskey. The whiskey has been finished in stout-seasoned casks, producing notes of cocoa, coffee and butterscotch while still retaining Jameson's famous triple-distilled smoothness.
Jameson Irish Whiskey is distilled three times to deliver exceptional smoothness. Triple distillation is what makes us unique to American Whiskeys, which are typically only distilled once, and Scotch whiskies, which are usually distilled twice. This tradition began in 1780 with the Great Master Distiller John Jameson, who worked out that three distillations was best for his Jameson Irish Whiskey. Not just a whiskey from one Single Distillery, Jameson is the world's Number one Irish Whiskey. Jameson Irish Whiskey also has one great taste.
